++ Charles G. Beersman was born in San Fransisco, Ca in1888. He studied at the University of Pennsylvania where he was awarded the LeBrun Scholarship for study in Italy. He joined Graham Anderson Probst and White in 1919 after serving in WWI. He is credited for the designs of the Wrigley Building, the Foreman State Bank, the Straus Building (with Peirce Anderson) and the Central Station at the Century of Progress. He lost his job at GAPW during the Depression. And after teaching at the Amour Institute, joined Fellheimer and Wagner in New York. He died there in 1946.
