I am forever fascinated with the City of Chicago and the Architects and Artists who dreamed it to life. I am an architect. I have lived here with camera in hand, documenting Chicago’s Architecture, Sculpture and Art. Watching. Visioning. Framing ideas. Finding heart. Removing distractions. To see the image that can put us face to face with the creator.

The photographs are simple records: concepts made clear in black and white, or deepend in color, brought to focus in overlooked details, craftsmanship, and inspiration. This is very personal work. These are pictures of home.

During the past 50 years I have recorded thousands of images of Chicago's Landmark Architecture and Sculpture. Each has furthered my own understanding and respect for the Artist. Each is a tribute to Chicago's creative traditions, and their roots. The body of work is collected at THE CHICAGO LOOP. org  New work is shown at THE CHICAGO LOOP PHOTO BLOG.
